Its a good that jesus christ came and died for our sins abolishing the laws such as this. Way to quote things without knowledge.
To the extent that Jesus abolished Old Testament laws, yes, Jesus realized (as did Gandhi) that Old Testament laws are immoral, dumb, or both.
(In some cases, anyway. Like Pa Yahweh, Jesus was comfortable as a clam with the horrific practice of slavery. Oh well. Nobody's perfect.)
